Roche Percee is a small village in southeast Saskatchewan. This village is rich in history ranging from ancient fossils, RCMP camps, underground mines and old towns. Today Roche Percee still remains but after a massive flood in 2011 most of the town is gone, only flooded out houses remain and a few residents on higher ground. Driving around the area of Roche Percee the history from the past is still very evident especially the massive rocks that can be seen on the edge of town. These rocks are from many many years ago when the valley was filled with water. The rocks were formed from the water rushing through them which is why some areas are like caves. Today these sandstone rocks are home to years of signatures being engraved into them. But these rocks are not only home to years of history and signatures, they are home to something else. Moose Jaw is home to many haunted locations and no shortage of history. St. Anthony's Home, formerly known as the Presbyterian College is a large old brick building that is situated at the top a hill overlooking Moose Jaw. The building was purchased by the Sisters of Providence and renovated into St. Anthony's Home. The Sisters also owned Providence hospital located in  Moose Jaw. Providence hospital was simply that, a hospital while St.Anthony's Home was opened simply to care for the elderly. Both buildings were closed in 1995 being replaced by the new Providence Place. Providence hospital was later demolished and St.Anthony's Home remains. St. Anthony's home has many reports of the paranormal. There have been lights flickering on and off, doors unlocking and feelings of being watched or being grabbed. When driving through the small town of St.Louis be sure to check out the abandoned rail line, for you may see more than you bargained for. The abandoned rail line where the tracks used to be placed is home to phantom lights. These lights are seen every night and has attracted people for many years. They say that the light is that of a train, a ghost train. Others have seen a lanterns being held by the spirit of a conductor walking down the line.  There have been so many stories told of this place but all are the same, ghost train and phantom conductor. Some people say that the lights are just headlights from the highway. But if this is true, why do so many people see the exact same thing?  Check it out if your nearby.

Cannington Manor Provincial Park is a historic site located in Southeast Saskatchewan. A society built on Victorian social values, complete with fox hunts, dramatics societies, poetry clubs, croquet, cricket and tennis ... all supported by an agricultural economy.  This was the dream of British settlers who homesteaded southeast of the Moose Mountains over 100 years ago. Their way of life flourished for a few, brief years; but, by 1900, the village of Cannington Manor was abandoned.  The short life was a merry one, led by the Cannington bachelors (Remittance Men) whose whiskey camps, thoroughbred racehorses, and rugby teams became legendary. Taylorton is an old mining town. This town started on its original site in southeast Saskatchewan, which contained stone buildings but was moved to its new site a few miles away. The 'old Taylorton' site was home to a few remaining stone buildings a few years ago but due to vandalism and unsafe foundations it was demolished and is now a pile of stone. Modern Taylorton is home to ruins and foundations of a once bustling town.  This story takes place at old Taylorton. Stories have been told that there was a woman that died in the boarding house in late February. The ground was still frozen so they were unable to bury her. Her coffin was placed in the basement of the house awaiting the spring. When spring arrived her coffin was to be brought up to be placed in the ground, upon checking the coffee the lady was found be to lying on her stomach. Living in many places around the province has given me the opportunity to speak with many people about their experiences.
