Bekevar church is a Heritage Site built between 1911-12, located near Kipling Saskatchewan. Bekevar was one of Canada's largest Hungarian settlements with the church becoming the central point.
The church is made of wood with large twin spires at the front. There is also an a large iron gate at the entrance of the property. There is also a cemetery nearby.
The Bekevar church may be sitting alone on a gravel road but it is anything but lonely. It is said to be home to a man that protects the church. There have been many reports of the bells ringing, doors slamming, doors locking, cold spots and a male voice. Since this church is hardly used, is this man staying behind to protect his beloved church?

Thanks for sharing this, I recently passed this church while doing a detour, and just had to learn more about it.
